CapivaraOS on SourceForge: Rising Star and Users Love Us
CapivaraOS is still young — our first public ISOs came out in July. Even so, within a few weeks, the project was recognized by SourceForge with two badges: Rising Star and Users Love Us. That's not nothing.
What are these badges?
The Rising Star goes to projects gaining traction — downloads growing, presence building. It's a recognition that the project is on the radar of people looking for quality software.
The Users Love Us comes from actual user reviews. Someone downloaded, tried it, and went back to leave a positive rating. That one means the most to us — because it came from someone who really used it.
Thank you
This doesn't happen on its own. If you downloaded, tested, reported an issue, or left a review — thank you. That's exactly the kind of participation that helps an open source project grow.
CapivaraOS is in beta, there are still rough edges to smooth out, and there's plenty of work ahead. But knowing the community is following along and liking what they see makes a real difference.
What's next
The focus now is continuing to stabilize all three distros — Marsh (KDE Plasma), Pup (Xfce) and Snout (GNOME) — and listening to people who are using them. If you haven't tried it yet, now is a good time to download and give it a spin. And if you have, a review on SourceForge helps other users discover the project.
And this is just the beginning — there's more good stuff coming soon. Keep an eye out.
