What to expect from CapivaraOS Pup

Light, quick to install, and just as Brazilian.

Fedora 44 base

The same official Fedora tooling used by the KDE spin: kickstart, lorax (livemedia-creator) and Anaconda as the installer.

Light, for 4GB of RAM

Xfce environment with Fedora's default Greybird theme — a deliberate choice to keep the spin fast to build and free of third-party theme dependencies.

Brazilian Portuguese by default

Language, ABNT2 keyboard layout and localization packages already configured, no extra setup after install.

Essential apps, without the extra weight

LibreOffice Calc and Writer, Firefox, Thunar, Parole and Claws Mail — a lean set built for more modest machines.

Anaconda installer

The same guided installation used across CapivaraOS distros and Fedora itself.

Free-software-first stance

No RPM Fusion enabled by default, keeping the official Fedora repositories as our base — the same stance as the Marsh spin.

Pup is under construction
