The project is maintained by a small community — every bit of help counts, in any area.

Translation and proofreading

Brazilian Portuguese is a priority for the project, but there's always room to proofread system text, documentation, and this very site — in both Portuguese and the English version.

Design and visual identity

Wallpapers, icons, boot and login screens: each distro is free to interpret CapivaraOS's visual identity within its own desktop environment. If you have ideas or finished assets, send them our way.

Testing

Downloading the Marsh, Pup and Snout betas, using them day to day and reporting issues (install screens, missing packages, visual identity bugs) is a big help. Testing development builds locally from the repositories' kickstarts is also very useful.

Documentation

READMEs, installation guides, and pages on this site also need ongoing maintenance — a good way to start contributing even without prior Linux packaging experience.
