Welcome to the CapivaraOS blog
Starting today, the CapivaraOS website has a space for news and behind-the-scenes updates from the project. The idea is simple: whenever there's something worth noting — a release, an infrastructure change, a product decision — we'll record it here.
To start, a recap of what's changed recently:
Real Pup screenshots
The CapivaraOS Pup page swapped its illustrative wallpapers for real screenshots of the system under development — desktop, app finder, Firefox, Thunar, and terminal.
Contact form renewed
The contact form got a refresh, with extra protection against spam. Details on how we handle submitted data are in our Privacy Policy.
New pages: Contribute, Privacy, and FAQ
We added a Contribute page with links to the GitHub repositories, a Privacy Policy explaining how we handle contact form data (in line with Brazil's LGPD), and an FAQ page gathering the most common questions about the project.
What's next
We keep evolving the CapivaraOS family of distros — Marsh, Pup and Snout. Keep an eye on the Changelog and this blog to follow along.
